A silent screen recording in labeled chapters. It opens with the practice's old website as it stood in May 2026: a scroll through the home page, then page-by-page visits across the full site. The same tour then repeats on the site TechTailors shipped in August 2026: home page first, then every major page. The closing chapters show PageSpeed Insights reports for the home page on desktop and mobile: the old site's May 2026 scores first, then the August 2026 scores after the rebuild, with desktop Performance landing at 100 and every category ending green.
A broken $1,000-a-month Wix contract became a fast, accessible site in the practice’s own accounts. This is how our first client rescue went, and why it set the pattern for everything TechTailors builds.
The problem
The practice had spent a year locked into a $1,000-a-month Wix contract. For that price they got a site that was slow and hard to edit. The part patients noticed most: it was broken on mobile. And the catch that defines these deals: the site, the accounts, and the work all lived with the vendor, so leaving meant starting over from scratch.
What we did
We hand-coded a new site on Astro, served from Cloudflare's edge: fast, accessible to WCAG 2.1 AA, and light on mobile. But the difference that matters most isn't the stack, it's the ownership: every account that runs the practice's site was set up in the client's name, on their billing, under their control. If they ever leave TechTailors, there is nothing to transfer, because nothing was ever rented from us in the first place.
The result
The practice went from a broken, rented site to a fast one it owns outright, at a fraction of the old monthly cost. We're holding specific booking and traffic numbers until we have 60 to 90 days of post-launch data: this is the rescue story (v1), and the outcomes update (v2) follows once the numbers are real. We don't publish metrics we can't yet back.
